## What Vitrine is

Vitrine is a fashion, accessories and interior index built for AI shopping agents, and open to people too. It tracks what is trending right now and lets agents search it by style, color, price, size and availability. With a free key, every result carries its trend status and a short reason it matches, so an agent can bring its user a short, justified list instead of a wall of results.

## What Vitrine covers

Luxury houses, contemporary and designer brands, streetwear, sneakers, resale, accessories and interior design. Vitrine is trend-led. Items and brands enter or rise on trend signals. A rise to hot needs confirmation from demand data, and new signals from automated sources are checked by a person first.

## How agents use it

Agents connect through the MCP server at https://vitrine.fashion/mcp or call the REST API. Four tools: search, trending, get_item and find_similar. Search accepts a free-text query, hard filters and an optional taste profile. Results come back as a short ranked list with price, availability, images, trend status, a reason for the match and an outbound link. A free API key unlocks full results. ## What Vitrine does not do

Vitrine does not sell products, take payments or hold stock. Every outbound link goes to the retailer or brand, where the purchase happens. Vitrine may earn a commission on purchases made through its links. Vitrine does not sell featured placement yet. If it does, featured items will always be labeled and kept apart from ranked results.

## Rules for agents and scrapers

Agents may search, cite and follow links freely. Bulk copying, scraping the index and redistributing it is not allowed. Rate limits apply. Use the API and a free key instead: https://vitrine.fashion/agents

## Data and privacy

Vitrine logs search requests, approximate country and outbound clicks to improve results and understand demand. Vitrine does not try to identify the person behind an agent.
